Water and electric power in arid southwest, fascinating history
Really enjoyed this half-hour film. Lessons to be learned today about how government can work--project completed two and a half years ahead of schedule. Sounds like Congress still works the same way, however, i.e., s l o w l y... if I heard this correctly, it sounds like it took them well over 10 years to approve this much-needed project originally proposed in 1918. Thank you for publishing these great historical resources.

Civil Engineering at it's best
Great footage of the building of this historic dam. This film has some footage that I have not seen before including the on site construction of one of the generators.
